Hello everybody, I'm trying my best to come back soon with some new paintings to share. Lots have happened in my life and I know that it's time for me to get back in painting.

I need your help to figure out how to create a cracking effect on canvas. I'm using acrylic and I would like to create that effect but I can’t figure it out. I know some you have done such a lovely job doing that, I really appreciate any help I can get.

I got my notice yesterday, yup... I lost my job!

My last day would be Dec 19th :(

I don't know how I feel right now, I really don't. Part of me is feeling good, a great sense of relief since it had been a emotional roller coaster recently at work, but part of me is worried. This is my first time losing a job.

Part of me feels free, now I have more time to dedicate to my art, maybe I can be a full time artist, what I always wanted.... I don't know, I keep hearing everything happens for a reason, I hope this has a good reason behind it.

Seller's Permit

I came home today to find my Seller's Permit in the mail.
After all I have been through, this week at work, it was such a nice treat. Now I'm on my way to open my Etsy shop. Yeyyyy! I can't wait.
I will keep you posted and will announce my opening.

I finished these velvety flowers last night, after a very stressful day at work. It took my mind off all the things happening at my job.

Sometimes I wish I could just travel through my paintings, a colorful, soft world! I bet that would calm me down!

Good morning everybody. Hope you all had a great weekend.

This is my one of my new watercolor paintings. I really need to get going on my Etsy shop, my friends are always telling me I'm crazy for not trying to sell my paintings on Etsy. I finally applied for the seller permit with the state, so I'm on my way, as soon as I get that, I will be opening my shop! Can't wait :)
